The individual day is the typical race most Ameicans think of (and the most widely popular discipline around the world). The Mens course profile is above...with the women doing about 500ft less (before the last summit) Four men and three women for today's race...the most you are allowed to filed at the start line per Nation is 4, so Luke, Pete, Scott and Travis. For the women its was Jari, Nina and Janelle.
Jari above tree line on the second of four climbs looking solid. The four star performance of the day was from Janelle from Crested Butee as she placed 9th today!! Very impressive finish for her first ever World Championships!
At the end of the day, unfortunately Chris Kroeger snapped his ski on the way down...so that lost us 100pts towards the "team score"...so he's buying beers tonight!
Tomorrow is the last day with the Teams Relay....should be sunny again! Balisimo!!!!
